I'm going to try and not come off all holier-than-thou here, but as a former smoker, I have a question for my readers who do smoke:
I quit because cigarettes went to $3 a pack and I couldn't afford them anymore. Which tells you I probably wasn't physically addicted to them. Even now, twenty-odd years later, I still get a whiff of that freshly lit deathstick and melt for the taste, tho.
But damn! I don't miss the stench and I don't miss the smoke and I don't miss much about the second puff or any puff after that.
Now, there's just so much evidence that it's such a sick thing to do to your body, I have to wonder how anyone smokes anymore.
