So, Conference Committee, Anyone?

 

In the old days...you know, when government worked?...the House would pass a bill, the Senate would pass a similar bill and if they weren't the same bill, the House leadership and the Senate leadership would sit down and hammer out a compromise.

 

I don't see that happening here.
